But the benefits don’t stop at tax relief. Wind revenue also pumps money into specific, uncapped school funds used for major facility improvements, new technology, and transportation. Take the Nodaway Valley Community School District, which brings in an extra $253,081 annually from 80 local turbines. That clean energy cash recently helped the school pull off a massive $3.7 million HVAC system upgrade and lease a brand-new school bus.
